Missing Pieces : Missing Pieces is inspired by the true story of the extraordinary discovery of an 11th century treasure in a Scottish sand hill. Marianne Mackay is struggling to make sense of the harrowing death of her much loved father in a hit-and-run accident. When her manipulative boss sends her to the beautiful but remote Isle of Lewis to curate an exhibition of the British Museum’s famous Lewis Chessmen, she becomes enchanted by the mysteries still surrounding the exquisite artefacts and the forty-nine pieces still missing. Her searching takes her into and the lives of three women whose courage and wit have protected the priceless treasure over the centuries and challenges her to confront her own buried past.

Vivaldi's Lost Concerto:  Fiona Sinclair knows she must do all that she can to earn her release from prison. A childhood of neglect, years of homelessness and drug abuse have all but eroded the good in her. When she is given a battered flute as part of her music therapy, she begins to hear again a tune that has enchanted her since childhood, a tune she's  drawn upon to get her through hard times. By chance she learns that her mysterious tune is in fact a  Vivaldi flute concerto recently discovered in an Cistercian abbey, buried there for three hundred years . She is determined to solve the mystery  of how she already knows the concerto's tune. Her searching  takes her, and the reader,  back to 18th Century Venice and into the lives of the famous composer Antonio Vivaldi, his housekeeper and secret lover Paolina Giro and Lord Robert Kerr, a young Scottish nobleman on his Grand Tour of Europe trying to escape his family's demands to join the fight against the tartan clad  rebellious Jacobites.
